Disabling OCSmart Hacks

Overview

Whatever your reason, you may want to disable OCSmart Hacks in some application. Of course, it is possible, along with a luxurious way of re-enabling it.

User Interface

To disable OCSmart Hacks in the current application, open its window (using the "OCSmart Hacks..." item from the application menu), and choose the "Disable" tab:

The big button at the upper part of the window allows you to disable OCSmart Hacks: if pressed, it warns you that OCSmart Hacks will be disabled for this application and that it is mandatory to re-launch it to do so, and if you confirm the dialogue, OCSmart Hacks are disabled and the application quits.

The table in the lower part of the window shows all applications, in which OCSmart Hacks are currently disabled. Since the scanning takes some time, it is not done automatically: after an application is launched, the table is empty. You can obtain the current state any time by pressing the "Rescan now" button; as a reminder, the time of the last scan is shown.

To re-enable OCSmart Hacks in some applications, just select them in the table and press the "Enable" button. All the selected applications will be enabled, and a dialogue will inform you which ones are currently running (and thus will not see the benefits of OCSmart Hacks until re-launched):
